Thai IV (1963-1965)

Thai IV trained for their Peace Corps service at the University of Hawaii. The volunteers of Group IV arrived in Thailand in 1963 and served from 1963 to 1965. Thai IV consisted of 33 volunteers.

“Last fall hundreds of Missourian readers, responding to a plea from Thailand, sent thousands of postage stamps to that exotic Far Eastern country for use among children to form stamp clubs. The stamps were requested by Travis Montgomery of Poplar Bluff, a Peace Corps worker in Bangkok…”
