Thai 29 trained for their Peace Corps service at Hilo. The volunteers of Group 29 arrived in Thailand in 1969 and served from 1969 to 1971. Thai 29 consisted of 22 volunteers who served in the Malaria Eradication, Leprosy Control, and Laboratory Technology program areas.
