Thai 37 trained for their Peace Corps service at Cha-Am. The volunteers of Group 37 arrived in Thailand in 1971 and served from 1971 to 1973. Thai 37 consisted of 18 volunteers who served in the Malaria Eradication and Nutrition program areas.
