Thai 39 trained for their Peace Corps service at Samut Phrakan and Chiang Mai. The volunteers of Group 39 arrived in Thailand in 1972 and served from 1972 to 1974. Thai 39 consisted of 61 volunteers who served in the Secondary TEFL program area.
