Thai 43 trained for their Peace Corps service at Phrachuab Khirikan and Phitsanuloke. The volunteers of Group 43 arrived in Thailand in 1973 and served from 1973 to 1975. Thai 43 consisted of 47 volunteers who served in the Teacher Training College and Higher Education program areas.
