Thai 48 trained for their Peace Corps service in Cha-Am and Bangkok. The volunteers of Group 48 arrived in Thailand in 1974 and served from 1974 to 1976. Thai 48 consisted of 28 volunteers who served in the Teacher Training College and Higher Education program areas.
