Thai 58 trained for their Peace Corps service at Chainat and Mahasarakham. The volunteers of Group 58 arrived in Thailand in 1977 and served from 1977 to 1979. Thai 58 consisted of 35 volunteers who served in the Teacher Training College Agriculture, Ag Extension, Land Development, Rural Public Works, Rubber Research, Secondary TEFL, Higher Education TEFL, Teachers Training College TEFL, and School for the Blind TEFL program areas.
