Thai 61 trained for their Peace Corps service in Supanburi and Sriracha. The volunteers of Group 61 arrived in Thailand in 1978 and served from 1978 to 1980. Thai 61 consisted of 34 volunteers who served in the Vocational Education, Higher Education, Secondary TEFL, and Teacher Training College program areas.
