Thai 66 trained for their Peace Corps service at Suphanburi. The volunteers of Group 66 arrived in Thailand in 1979 and served from 1979 to 1981. Thai 66 consisted of 36 volunteers who served in the Agriculture Extension, Fisheries, Secondary TEFL, Health, Parasite Control, Village Development, District Agriculture, Agriculture Education, Livestock Production Extension Agent, Crop Production, Community Health, Medical Technology, 4-H Extension, and Water Resources program areas.
