Thai 69 trained for their Peace Corps service at Suphanburi. The volunteers of Group 69 arrived in Thailand in 1980 and served from 1980 to 1982. Thai 69 consisted of 32 volunteers who served in the Agriculture Instruction, Agriculture Worker, Geology, 4-H Extension, Handicrafts, Industrial Arts, Physical Therapy, Water Resources, Secondary TEFL, Fish Production, Community Health, and Malaria Control program areas.
