Thai 86 trained for their Peace Corps service in Nakorn Sawan and Bang Saen. The volunteers of Group 86 arrived in Thailand in 1985 and served from 1985 to 1987. Thai 86 consisted of 13 volunteers who served in the Plant Protection, Crop Extension, Soil and Water Conservation, Water Resources, 4-H Extension, and Fisheries program areas.
