Thai 98 trained for their Peace Corps service in Phitchit (98A) and Phitsanuloke (98B). The volunteers of Group 98 arrived in Thailand in 1991 and served from 1991 to 1993. Thai 98 consisted of 57 volunteers who served in the Nutrition, Community Development, Filariasis Control, AIDS Control, Land Development, and Rural Development Forestry program areas.
